Business, Marketing, and Information Technology Education
An education program unique to the state got a boost and future business leaders are getting a jump start in St. Joseph, MO. Officials from the St. Joseph School District and Missouri Western State University signed an articulation agreement that offers high school students the chance to earn three hours of college credit after completing the High School of Business program with a 3.0 grade point average.
The agreement was signed at Western by Dr. Bob Vartabedian, president of Western, and Dr. Jaime Dial, director of secondary curriculum and instruction for the school district, in front of about 90 students who are currently enrolled in the program from the three public high schools.
