"Invest in Your Future" is this year's theme for February Career and Technical Education Month. The Association for Career and Technical Education and other organizations will be educating communities about how CTE is helping students toward challenging career fields. Public service announcements are airing throughout the state this month.

Comprehensive Guidance & Counseling Announces Webinar
Greg Casel, director of guidance for the Liberty School District, will share his experience and the website Liberty created to help students and parents see the suggested coursework for each of the 16 Career Clusters. The free webinar is scheduled for 3:15 - 4:15 p.m., Thursday, February 18. To participate, register through My Learning Plan. If this is your first time to use My Learning Plan, contact Heather Evers at heather.evers@dese.mo.gov or (573) 751-7966 to set new registrants with a user id and password.
State AEL Program Soliciting Applications
DESE's Adult Education and Literacy program is soliciting applications from interested public and private entities to provide adult education and literacy instruction and services.
Perkins 2009 Performance Data Available
Performance data is now available on the DESE website for the 2009 school year. With a new data collection system implemented in the first year of "Perkins IV," the data is now provided in a new format through DESE's Electronic Plan and Electronic Grants System (ePeGs). Instructions below will help users navigate to the information through the DESE Web Applications portal. The Division will not provide LEA reports on the Division website. Statewide data is the only data provided showing three year trends.

The Administrative Planning Guide with grant application forms for the Fiscal Year 2011 Enhancement Grant is now available. The due date for consideration is February 26, 2010.
