The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education announces the availability of Title II, Part B., Mathematics and Science Partnership Program Funds. The Department will award one or more projects from each of the three initiatives: Grade K-6 Mathematics, Grade K-6 Science, and Grade K-6 Success for ELLs. No award will exceed $500,000.

06/24/2013 School Food Services Direct Certification - New Process through MOSIS

A new Direct Certification process will be implemented beginning in the 2013-14 school year for all public LEAs and in the 2014-15 school year for all non-public schools and Residential Child Care Institutions (RCCIs). The new process will provide LEAs with Direct Certification eligibility utilizing the Missouri Student Information System (MOSIS). This process was designed to simplify the application procedure for families approved to receive Food Stamps or Temporary Assistance, increase participation by eligible children, and reduce paperwork at the LEA level.
